Hello, I’m Whitney and for the last 3 years I have been studying a passion of mine. Nutrition has always been a massive part of my life. It was through a personal health journey that my exposure to the effects of how we eat and how we live our lives can either really enhance or inhibit your day-to-day standard of living. I cannot tell you how much of positive impact a change in nutrition and lifestyle has had for me over the years; whilst I’ve learnt a hell of a lot both through study and personal practice, I’m also still learning and know I always will be. Nutrition isn’t about following the latest diet fad, or doing what your best friend is doing to reach their optimal health status, it’s about getting to know you, your body and what you can do on a daily basis to help you feel the best you day-to-day. I’ve come to realise it isn’t just nutrition that is important in a health journey, although I am a big believer that it plays a pivotal part – there are many other aspects we tend to neglect as a modern society: sleep, stress management, movement and last but not least our emotional and mental health.
My aim as a practitioner is to share naturopathic philosophy and treatment modalities to enhance and encourage optimal wellbeing in every aspect of life; understanding and addressing issues holistically. I aim to empower clients to take their health and wellbeing into their own hands, using the information I can share through the knowledge I have gained to provide therapeutic patient-centered treatment plans, ensuring my clients have the necessary self-help skills to continue and progress to achieve their health goals.
